Life Memberbership
The 2008 Annual General Meeting resolved that Gavin Reynolds be awarded life membership. Gavin has made a fantastic contribution to our association, as a coach and an executive member for many years. He was formally inducted as a life member at the 2009 Life Member dinner and Ladies Night. |

Darkie McCall Award
The Darkie McCall award is presented at the Life Member dinner and Ladies night for the member who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to the association during the previous season. The award for 2009 was presented to Anthony Ellard. In 2008, Anthony served as Director of Recruitment & Retention, Assistant Secretary, Junior Appointments Panel and Coaching Panel. |

Jack Argent Trophy
The Jack Argent Trophy is presented to the referee who officiates in the A Grade, Division 1 Grand Final - the associations top appointment. Zbigniew Przeklasa-Adamski was appointed to this position for the first time. Zbig was also appointed to the Under 17/1 Grand final and has been in the Junior Reps squad for several years Zbig sets a very high standard for all fellow referees. He is a great role model and embodies the association ethos perfectly. |

Junior Achievement Award
The Junior Achievement Award is presented to the Junior Member who has displayed outstanding potential during the season. Jake Peters-McDonald was awarded the 2009 Junior of the Year award. This has been an outstanding year for Jake who was appointed to the A1 Touch Line and U15/1 Centre - The highest centre he could possibly do due to age restrictions. |

Bob Jones Award
The Bob Jones trophy is presented to the member who has shown outstanding improvement and achievement during the season. This season’s honour was presented to Patrick Mackey. Patrick has continued to improve his on-field performances. This has been reflected with his appointment to the C2 & U17/2 Grand Final as a referee. Patrick has been in the Junior Reps squad this season and has put in tremendous efforts. |

Ernie Bull Award
The Ernie Bull Trophy is presented to the Member who has shown outstanding commitment to training and is named Trainer of the year. Daniel Luttringer & Matthew Devos were named joint recipients of the Ernie Bull Trophy. In naming them, Bernard Biala noted their commitment to training and constant improvement during the season. |
| Rookie of the Year Award
The Rookie of the Year award recognises new referees who excel on field, train hard and become part of the fabric of the association. Daniel Luttringer was awarded the 2009 Rookie of the year. Daniel has come out of the blocks quickly, demonstrating great commitment to refereeing and improvement. |

Referee's Referee Award
The Referee’s Referee award is a chance for members to have their say on their colleagues. Referees were asked to think about the active referee they most admire, they enjoy running or training with, they think is an asset to the organisation and they think represent what we stand for. Jake Peters-McDonald was awarded the Referee's Referee award. The only association award decided by active members. |

NRL Achievement Award - Senior
The NRL achievement award recognises those referees who have made the association proud during the season. Matthew Devos was awarded the senior award after a stand-out season including making his C Grade Debut. |

The NRL achievement award recognises those referees who have made the association proud during the season. Jarred Kelly was awarded the Junior award. He also excelled this season and was appointed to the Under 10 National consolation grand final in Griffith. |

Coach of the Year
This season saw the first Coach of the Year awarded. This award is voted on by the active membership. Ken McNaught was voted the coach of the year. The award is a fitting tribute to the professionalism and ethos he has brought to the coaching and development of referees. |
