Membership
The 2007 Annual
General Meeting resolved that Mark Bej be awarded life membership.
Mark has made a fantastic contribution to our association,
specifically as a coach for many years.
He was formally
inducted as a life member at the 2008 Life Member dinner
and Ladies Night. |

Darkie
McCall Award
The Darkie McCall
award is presented at the Life Member dinner and Ladies
night for the member who has demonstrated outstanding commitment
to the association during the previous season.
The award for
2007 was presented to Barry Cummins for his hard work, effort
and dedication to the association. Barry's service on Sponsorship
and Social committee as well as his strength and service
as an active referee makes him a true stalward of the association. |

Jack
Argent Trophy
The Jack Argent
Trophy is presented to the referee who officiates in the
A Grade, Division 1 Grand Final - the associations top appointment.
Stephen Ellison
was appointed to this position for the fourth successive
season. An association record! Stephen has displayed outstanding
commitment to his refereeing and to the association.
He is a great
role model and embodies the association ethos perfectly. |

Junior
Achievement Award
The Junior Achievement
Award is presented to the Junior Member who has displayed
outstanding potential during the season.
Jarred Kelly
was awarded the 2008 Junior of the Year award. Jarred came
of age this year. His outstanding performaces on the field
led to his appointment to the Under 13 Div 1 Grand Final
and to the Under 16 Div 3 touch line. |

Bob
Jones Award
The Bob Jones
trophy is presented to the member who has shown outstanding
improvement and achievement during the season.
This season's
honour was presented to Mitchell Stone.
Mitchell continues
to demonstrate the skill and strength that will one day
take him to the NRL. His effort in Senior District Football
as well as Junior Representative Squad are to be applauded.

Ernie
Bull Award
The Ernie Bull
Trophy is presented to the Member who has shown outstanding
commitment to training and is named Trainer of the year.
Jake Peters-McDonald
was named winner of the Ernie Bull Trophy.
In naming Jake,
Sarge (Joe Paolini) said he demonstrated outstanding commitment,
dedication and enthusiasm at every training session. Jake
only missed training for League Business.

Rookie
of the Year Award
The Rookie of
the Year award recognises new referees who excel on field,
train hard and become part of the fabric of the association.
Joseph Eid was
awarded the 2008 Rookie of the year.
Joe was a popular
winner from the many rookies who excelled this year. He
is one of the hardest trainers, performed well during the
season and has really become a part of the association. |

Referee's
Referee Award
The Referee’s
Referee award is a chance for members to have their say
on their colleagues. Referees were asked to think about
the active referee they most admire, they enjoy running
or training with, they think is an asset to the organisation
and they think represent what we stand for.
Barry Cummins
was awarded the Referee's Referee award. The only association
award decided by active members. This honour comes on top
of the Darkie McCall award he won earlier in the year.

NRL
Achievement Award
The NRL achievement
award recognises those referees who have made the association
proud during the season.
Zbigniew Przeklasa-Adamski
was awarded the senior award after a stand-out season including
an outstanding Junior Rep Season.
Jake Peters-McDonald
also excelled this season and was appointed to the Under
12 National consolation grand final in Darwin.
